Description
Betta prima is a wild Betta species characterized by its subtle, earthy coloration with hints of iridescent blue-green on its fins, particularly visible when flaring. This mouthbrooding species is native to Southeast Asia and thrives in heavily planted aquariums with ample hiding spots. While males can be territorial with each other, they are generally peaceful with other appropriately sized tankmates.
