Description

The Betta Fish, also known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is a popular freshwater species famous for its vibrant colors and flowing fins, particularly in males. Males are highly territorial and aggressive towards other males, but can be kept in community tanks with carefully chosen, peaceful tankmates. As labyrinth fish, they can breathe atmospheric air from the water's surface.
