Description

The Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is a popular freshwater fish renowned for its vibrant colors and elaborate finnage. Males are highly territorial and aggressive towards other males, but can be kept in a community tank with carefully selected, peaceful tankmates. They are labyrinth fish, capable of breathing atmospheric oxygen.
