Description
Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is a popular freshwater fish renowned for its vibrant colors and elaborate finnage, especially in males. Originating from Southeast Asia, these labyrinth fish are capable of breathing atmospheric oxygen. While males are highly territorial and aggressive towards other males, they can be kept in carefully selected community tanks.
