Description
The Bay Whiff is a small, left-eyed flatfish found in the Western Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean. It is an ambush predator that buries itself in sandy or muddy substrates, using its camouflage to hunt small invertebrates and fish. This species requires a mature brackish or marine aquarium with a soft substrate for burying.
