Description

The Barred Spiny Eel is an elongated, freshwater fish characterized by its eel-like body, pointed snout, and small dorsal spines. Primarily nocturnal, it enjoys burrowing into soft substrates, making it an interesting addition to a well-suited aquarium. While generally peaceful towards larger tankmates, it may prey on very small fish.
