Description
The Barred Hamlet is a striking marine fish known for its distinctive dark vertical bar across its body, contrasting with a lighter yellow-white base and iridescent blue markings on its head and fins. This small predatory fish is native to the coral reefs of the Caribbean and Western Atlantic, where it feeds on small crustaceans and fish. While generally peaceful with larger tankmates, it can be territorial towards conspecifics or very small invertebrates and fish.
