Description

Barnes' Garden Eels are slender, burrowing marine fish that anchor themselves in sandy substrates, emerging to feed on passing zooplankton. They are characterized by their light brown to tan bodies covered in numerous small white spots. These shy eels require a very deep sand bed and strong currents to thrive in captivity.
