Description

The Banded Rudderfish is a large, fast-swimming marine predator belonging to the jack family. Juveniles exhibit prominent dark vertical bands, which gradually fade as they mature into a more uniform silvery-blue coloration. These fish are highly active and require immense space, making them suitable almost exclusively for public aquariums.
