Description

The Bala Shark is a large, active, schooling freshwater fish known for its torpedo-shaped body and striking silver scales with black-edged fins. Despite its 'shark' moniker, it is a peaceful cyprinid that requires a very spacious aquarium to thrive. They are constantly on the move and prefer to be kept in groups of at least three to five individuals.
