Description
The Atlantic Wrasse, also known as Tinca Wrasse, is a temperate marine fish characterized by its brownish-yellow body covered in numerous light spots and a distinct black spot at the base of its caudal fin. These active wrasses are found in rocky and seagrass habitats, where they forage for small invertebrates. While generally peaceful with other species, they can exhibit territorial behavior, especially towards conspecifics.
