Description
The Atlantic Flyingfish is a pelagic marine species renowned for its ability to leap out of the water and glide for long distances using its enlarged pectoral fins. These fish are found in the open tropical and subtropical Atlantic Ocean, primarily serving as prey for larger marine predators. Due to their specialized open-ocean habitat and need for vast swimming space, they are not suitable for typical home aquariums and are rarely seen even in public aquariums.
