Description

Trachelyopterus coriaceus is a nocturnal, armored driftwood catfish native to South America, known for its mottled brown and tan coloration that provides excellent camouflage. This species is generally peaceful but can prey on very small tankmates. It thrives in aquariums with plenty of hiding spots among driftwood and plants.
