Description
The Argentine Pearl Killifish is an annual killifish native to temporary pools and ditches in Argentina and Uruguay. Males display striking iridescent colors, often with blue, green, and red patterns, while females are more subdued. They are known for their unique life cycle where their eggs can survive dry periods buried in the substrate.
