Description
The Almaco Jack is a large, fast-swimming predatory marine fish found in tropical and subtropical waters globally. It has a silvery body, often with a diagonal stripe through the eye, and a relatively deep body. Due to its immense size and pelagic nature, it is unsuitable for most home aquariums and is primarily seen in public aquariums or as a sport fish.
