Description
The Alligator Gar is one of the largest freshwater fish in North America, characterized by its distinctive alligator-like snout and large, sharp teeth. These ancient, predatory fish are ambush hunters, feeding on a variety of aquatic and terrestrial animals. Due to their immense size and predatory nature, they are suitable only for expert aquarists with very large, specialized setups.
