Description
The African Freshwater Goby (*Glossogobius giuris*) is a widespread benthic fish characterized by its elongated body, large head, and cryptic, mottled brown coloration. It is a territorial carnivore that preys on small invertebrates and fish, requiring a well-filtered aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and a sandy substrate. This species can be semi-aggressive, especially towards conspecifics, and needs appropriate tankmates.
